Spectacular view from Melbourne’s highest altitude rooftop bar. Went with the Fried chicken with ranch & beef sausage rolls as the tapas to share ?, & Drinks I recommend are the Stone fruit Martini, Leatherwood old fashioned & penicillin ? Excellent customer service from waitress!

Amazing bar with amazing views. The sunsets here are beautiful and the cocktails are the finest I have ever had! Took work colleagues here for drinks and loved it! Cannot recommend enough

Definitely not what it used to be. The guy with the tracksuit pants and cheap DFO runners wouldnt have been let in years ago. The wait staff could definitely improve, but all said it's probably positioned for the tourist crowd so anyway..., BEST views and awesome drinks otherwise :)

At Lui Bar you'll see some of the best views of Melbourne that there is. It's very pretty at night, although you may have to wait about half an hour or more to go up if it's busy (which it usually is). Lui Bar is a very classy yet relaxing atmosphere. I just don't find the cocktail menu that appealing, but it's probably just not to my taste. Staff are friendly but if you go early when it's quiet, they chat quite loudly together but they're very professional when serving. I'd recommend to take visitors to Melbourne due to the great views of the city.

Such an unique experience to be escorted by the staff from the lobby to the 55th floor of Rialto building (previously tallest building in Melbourne!) I loved classy and sophisticated deco and knowledgeable staff on site - not to mention, a great selection of whisky and cocktails. We had to wait around a bit to get the window seats but boy was it worth it. Although drinks were slightly more expensive than usual, considering the spectacular view of the city, it was definitely worth it. A perfect venue for a fancy date night!

Lui Bar is one of those once off experiences. The views are obviously amazing, but the venue itself is a little overhyped. The decor is okay but a little bland and of course the price is matching the views, you can definitely get a great cocktail elsewhere without the necessary dress code or price tag attached.

Great place but was amazingly surprised(-ve) in the way the staff responded in service. At a official function in vue de monde part of the bar and tried to get a drink in lui bar. They advised they are busy so for table service and had waiting. Totally respected that but asked i f we can buy a drink and come back to our area and was told we only do table service. So u cannot get a table so no drink for u. That is when u r already in a part of bar. Surely we can look at it Policy but shd be more common sense. Being a client i go by my experience so was not great with all respect to their choice of service. ?? Did not see the person we spoke to paying a great deal anyways.

To the enthusiastic waitress in the glasses, A HUGE thank you for making my visit there with my girlfriend extra special. Tl;dr - told her that it was her birthday and she made sure something was made for my girlfriend as a surprise. Superb customer service and professionalism.

A brilliant location and fantastic views but sub par off menu drinks. 60ml of alcohol maximum per drink. In fairness to the staff they tried to rectify what was an unpalatable drink but replaced it with a slightly less unpalatable drink. Better bars to be found minus the view.

Amazing bar high above the city, which brings with it incredible views. Great staff and incredible cocktails. Not cheap but lovely for the experience if wanting something new to do in city.

Lui Bar has a chill, relaxed and expensive atmosphere. It is surprisingly dark but manageable. The darkness inside the room really draws the magnificent view in especially at night. Make sure when you walk in, request for a window seat. I had the 3 course meal with house wine pairing for a decent $140. ($90+$40). It was valentine's day so we got a heart shaped chocolate desert. Middle Couches are a bit odd as you can't really sit up which makes eating a bit annoying. Liu bar doesn't take bookings and does walk ins only. Skip the queue by coming a bit later (1am-2am). Impressive first date idea that doesn't cost an arm and a leg even though it looks like it.

This is the worst customer service i have ever experienced. I was told over the phone a month prior to Valentine's Day that Lui Bar doesn't take reservations. Upon arrival a rude french host told us the place was booked out and all tables reserved. I then asked how this was possible and explained that I was told on the phone that Lui Bar didn't take reservations, it was then made clear to me that appartently there was a FACEBOOK event that was taking bookings for Lui Bar. I was disappointed that I wasn't made aware of this a month ago. We then waited 20 mins in the lobby waiting with a few other couples (it was Valentine's Day). My girlfriend and I were dressed very elegantly as the first time my girlfriend tried to get in she was denied entry as she was wearing jeans. We looked around the lobby and there were couples wearing sneakers and ripped jeans... what is the dress code and why is it not consistent!!?? We were then finally called up but the host harshly, shoved 4 couples into the one elevator. We were then told that we still had to wait at a STANDING table next to the bar until a seat AT THE BAR became availble to us. By that point we had had enough and had to leave. My girlfriend and I just can't believe that we were made to stand at the standing table when there were availble tables at the window, we most likely could have enjoyed a drink or two and some bites to eat in the time that they had reserved for another couple. This was an absolutely appalling experience and we will never return to Lui Bar for the bad service and organisation. Thoroughly disappointed.

Don't go to sky deck Melbourne, come to this place absolutely amazing view and drinks.

You only need to go once! For the views. The decor is stunning, the service is decent but it isn't so worth the hype. Still an okay and enjoyable time.

Fantastic ambiance, amazing view, but the three course menu portions were very small and definitely left me wanting a kebab...

I loved this place

I went to see the night view instead of the Eureka Tower. But Melbourne night view itself is not very high and there is no high building and Seoul night view is more beautiful. It's expensive but worth a visit.

You can't beat the Lui Bar for views. Great selection of cocktails and drinks. Naturally a bit overpriced but if you factor in the view, it's well worth it in my opinion.

we never got the window seats(they're supposed to be first come first serve when theres not a reservation)...drinks are quite nice tho
